Sales Account Manager

The primary role of a sales account manager at VDA Labs is to help generate relationships with new customers and find growth within existing accounts. We are seeking individuals with 2 years sales experience preferably in technology or information security but not required.

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven work experience in sales
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to listen to customers needs
  • Knowledge of datacenter security issues
  • Works well across teams and delivers timely

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop new relationships with customers and network within existing accounts
  • Prospect potential customers and identify areas for growth
  • Meet quota requirements per companies sales initiatives

Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst

The primary purpose of this position is to help coordinate and report on cyber incidents impacting VDA customers. The ideal candidate will be hungry to learn and ready to work in an exciting field.

 

Primary Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or seeking degree) in a related field.
  • 1+ years’ experience as a Security/Network Administrator or equivalent knowledge.
  • Knowledge of various security methodologies and processes, and technical security solutions (firewall, endpoint, and network monitoring).
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and analysis, security networking operations.
  • Knowledge of common Internet protocols and applications.
  • Trustworthiness and dependability are strict requirements for this position.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working in a 24×7 Security Operation Center (SOC) environment.
  • Provide analysis of security data and alerts coming in from client networks.
  • Provide Incident Response (IR) support when analysis confirms actionable incident.
  • Provide threat and vulnerability analysis as well as security advisory services.
  • Analyze and respond to previously undisclosed software and hardware vulnerabilities
  • Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends.
  • Integrate and share information with other analysts and other teams.
  • Provide support to other areas of the business as needed, including performing OSINT investigations, other threat hunting, etc.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Security Engineer

The security engineer role within VDA Labs works on a wide variety of consulting engagements for both offensive and defensive purposes. The ideal candidate will have some relevant industry experience and be hungry to learn different aspects of the industry.

 

Primary Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Security/Network Administrator or equivalent knowledge.
  • Knowledge of various security methodologies and processes, and technical security solutions (firewall, endpoint, and network monitoring).
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and analysis, security networking operations.
  • Knowledge of common Internet protocols and applications.
  • Familiarity with various risk analysis frameworks and industry security standards (PCI, HIPAA, NIST, ETC).
  • Ability to step into a variety of engagements with a cool head.
  • Familiarity with application security testing practices.
  • CISSP, CEH, Pentest+ or other equivalent certifications preferred.
  • Trustworthiness and dependability are strict requirements for this position.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct professional level security engineering engagements.
  • Work on both red team assessments and blue team consulting.
  • Consulting directly with clients in a personable and professional manner.
  • Assist in responding to incidents on behalf of clients.
  • Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends.
  • Integrate and share information with other analysts and other teams.
  • Write professional quality reports suitable for delivery to clients.
  • Provide support to other areas of the business as needed.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Senior Security Engineer

The senior security engineer role within VDA Labs works as a team lead for a variety of security consulting engagements for both offensive and defensive purposes. The ideal candidate will have full time infosec experience, be capable of working professionally in a client facing capacity, and be hungry to jump in to new areas.

 

Primary Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in information security specifically or equivalent knowledge.
  • Advanced knowledge of various security methodologies and processes, and technical security solutions (firewall, endpoint, and network monitoring).
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and analysis, security networking operations.
  • Knowledge of common Internet protocols and applications.
  • Experience with conducting security assessments and / or implementing security tooling for defensive purposes.
  • Capability to speak authoritatively about industry security standard and risk frameworks (PCI, HIPAA, NIST, ETC).
  • Ability to step into a variety of engagements with a cool head.
  • Capability to conduct application security assessments preferred.
  • OSCP, GIAC, CISSP or other similarly advanced certifications preferred.
  • Trustworthiness and dependability are strict requirements for this position.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct professional level security engineering engagements.
  • Work on both red team assessments and blue team consulting.
  • Conducting consulting engagements in a personable manner.
  • Leading other engineers on engagement and providing direction.
  • Training less experienced engineers and analysts.
  • Perform incident handling on behalf of clients.
  • Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends.
  • Integrate and share information with other analysts and other teams.
  • Provide support to other areas of the business as needed.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
